Step-by-Step to Generate an API Key from Solatech Focus

Step 1: Access Account Settings

• Login to your Solatech account.

• From the top right, click the Setting Gear Icon

• Click on “Account administration” from the dropdown.

Step 2: Navigate to API Key Section

• In the left sidebar menu, select “Integrations”

• Choose “API Key” from the sub-options.

Step 3: Add a New API Key

• Click the “ + New Key” button on the top right.

• This will open the “New API Key” configuration panel.

Step 4: Configure Key Details

• Enter API Key Name (e.g., “FSS Window Pro”).

• Toggle the switches (e.g., Read, Write, Update, Delete) to enable all the permissions.

• Click the “Save” button.

Step 5: Copy the Generated Key

• Click the “Edit” button.

• The system will display the newly created API keys.

• Copy the Primary Key.

• You can send the key from your laptop to your mobile device via email, SMS, or WhatsApp channels.

Step 6: FSS Window Pro® app Integration

Getting started with Solatech Focus integration in the FSS Window Pro® app is incredibly simple and user-friendly.

• From your app’s Left menu, tap “Connected to Solatech Focus” and switch to “Yes.”

• You’ll be prompted to enter your Solatech Account Email ID and API Token—that’s it!

• Hit Connect, and you're good to go.
